Some cool shows coming up.  Don’t miss  an evening with kLoB and Mondo Mike and The PoBoyz at 1904 on April 26. Downtown has become a very fun place.  And there are a few really great shows at The Dogstar Tavern in Fernandina, and even an outdoor Fernandina show with Grandpa’s Cough Medicine and Zach Deputy!

And for the third year in a row, The 4th of July Bonefish Grill Jax Beach Superparty is on again, with proceeds to benefit some lucky charity that hasn’t stepped forth yet…….

There will be fewer kLoB shows this year, so be sure and come out when you can.  There’s a lot going on, and as things move and change, the river will bring what it will.  Now more than ever, pay attention!  This is important and helpful in all aspects of life.

Of course you can.  This kind of shit happens every year.  It gets closer to the end, and we act like we can’t believe it.  But then we think of all the stuff we tried to accomplish, and all the trials and tribs we’ve gone thru just to make it this far, and we realize….

It didn’t fly by at all. we trudged thru it.  Angry nights.  Frustrated mornings.  Tired afternoons.  Drunken weekends.  This is life on planet earth, and this is how we live it.

We push on. We persevere.  Because if we don’t, then we suck.

It is our job to find the laughter.  And the smiles.  No one brings them to us.  We have to dig them up, and then savor them like chunks of Fool’s Gold.  Iron Pyrite.

It’s never the way we thought it would be, but it can be really awesome if we look at it under the right light!

Do yourselves a favor, and come see a show with someone you know who has never seen a kLoB show before.  Show them what has become commonplace to you.  Something else that has been put on a shelf and taken for granted.  Show thaem what it was that got you sweaty in the first place.

It is still raw.  Real.  Unscripted. Funky.  Sweaty.

We have cheap tix to Full Moon Festival in September.  Lots of them.  Come camp at a festival unlike any other.  The best of people in the heart of beautiful Florida.  Right by the Springs.  Inexpensive and spiritually rewarding.  We promise.

And you should also camp at a Farm to Family Full Moon Festival.  Nicest people.  Beautiful Florida right by Ginnie Springs.  No brainer and always way too affordable!  We will have a limited amount of tickets available for a super discount, so contact us if you want them.

Oh, and still, Battleship is on Youtube, and was recently shown at the Park City, Utah Music and Film Festival.  It is still the future.

Today, December 1, exactly one year after kLoB played Whisky A “No Show” out West, the next record- Exaggerate the Follow-Through, was sent off to print.  It will be in hand by Kip’s 40th birthday on December 12.  Battleship music video (http://vimeo.com/31617483), and finally a second kLoB record, all in 2011.  Thanks to everybody and all the support.  You keep diggin it, we’ll keep giggin it.  Happy Holidaze!
