Today, December 1, exactly one year after kLoB played Whisky A “No Show” out West, the next record- Exaggerate the Follow-Through, was sent off to print. It will be in hand by Kip’s 40th birthday on December 12. Battleship music video (http://vimeo.com/31617483), and finally a second kLoB record, all in 2011. Thanks to everybody and all the support. Battleship video is shot, and is now being edited. ETFT is coming, believe it or not. We just aren’t gonna churn out shit here at kLoB. This ain’t WalMart mass production crap. Custom only. Handcrafted. Attention to detail. You want it faster? Pay me! Until then, sleep well knowing that somewhere in this human-infected nightmare of a planet, quality and goodness is alive and well, and Team kLoB has it all under control. Oh, and we just threw down pretty hard at The DogStar, so you should probably come check out a show soon. Two big fests comin up. Magnolia Fest in October, and Bear Creek in November. Start saving your cash now. We taste better than cigarettes anyway.

kLoB sweats....

We all up in the middle of the superhot right now. Battleship video is gonna get shot right in the heart of it, this month. New CD is taking longer than I like, but it will be worth it. Promise. Nobody wants it done more than we do. We’ll be back in Fernandina the end of this month, and then Burrito Gallery Artwalk for September. Don’t forget Magnolia Festival and Bear Creek at The Suwanee Music Park either. Bear Creek, we’ll be there all week, campin and throwin down at cAmPkLoB like we always do. All are welcome, for what promises to be one hell of a week of great music. Stay cool and spread the noise.

Summer sweats in all of us. The heat changes the mood. This is “how we do” in La Florida. Hot is good. The 4th of July Celebration at The Bonefish Grill in Jax Beach, a trip to the Outer Banks for our Coast Guard, a little Square One, a Camels Campout at Suwannee, Amelia Island Sunsplash Fest, and The Dogstar in Fernandina, just to name a couple of things. Not bad. The record is being mixed. Slowly, but oh so sweetly. Just as the Summer heat starts to retreat, kLoB will keep it hot with a new release. ETFT is comin, and so is the Battleship Video. This thing is going to be epic. A short kLoB film, if you will. We are so thankful for you, so be patient. We will continue to give. Spread the noise, and come see us. We like that.

Heads up! kLoB is playin a great show at Suwannee the weekend of June 24th, and it’s only $25 for the WHOLE WEEKEND! This year’s lineup : The Glass Camels, Nathan Holley, Tony Smotherman, Amy Hendrickson & The Prime Directive, Charlie Walker, Pigman’s Radio Service, Klob, Love Chunk, Old City Dub, and many more…. Music starts Friday June 24th at 6pm and then two stages start at Noon on Saturday June 25th. A refreshing mix of Blues, Funk, Reggae, Rock, Folk, Jam Band and Jazz!
